Rehabilitation in Germany is divided in to 3 types:
 Preventive rehab that has two functions :
-          to fully prevent or to postpone the disease;
-          to prevent the deterioration of the chronic disease

Geriatric rehab has its origin from Geriatrics – the branch of medical science specialized in diagnostics. Treatment and preventive treatment with old people.

Restorative programs of the patient are created individually to every client according to his/her main and subordinary diseases, his/her physical and physiologic peculiarities. The most important condition of the treatment and rehab is complex treatment character and systematic attitude towards treatment, i.e. clinic-hospital-resort. That’s why Rehab Center is working closely with the medical institutions. The doctors specialized on one medical field is helping with patients’ treatment. The duration of the treatment is individual for each patient and is appointed by the doctor and the head of the medical department and it can be prolonged or lessened after consultations with them. The case history is made for each separate in-patient client. After the treatment the patient receives epicrisis and recommendation for the further examination, treatment, etc.
